What the CogniHoney FDA seal means, and what it does not
The seal buyers ask about most, read against what the agency actually does.
A building, not a bottle
Facilities that make or pack dietary supplements for the US market register with the FDA. Registration puts a facility on the agency’s list so it can be contacted and inspected. It is not a review of any product that facility makes.
Supplements are not approved before sale. MedlinePlus puts it plainly: a supplement reaches the shelf without the premarket testing a drug goes through. Three quality questions the CogniHoney list raises

Pink salt and trace metals
An analysis of 31 pink salts found the minerals would only matter at more than 30 g a day, and one sample exceeded the lead limit. The question to ask of any salt ingredient is a heavy-metal result for the lot.
Cinnamon and coumarin
Cassia cinnamon carries coumarin, which NCCIH links to liver effects; the coumarin risk assessment sets a tolerable intake of 0.1 mg per kg of body weight. The list names cinnamon extract without a species.
Green tea extract and the liver
The USP review gathered liver-injury case reports with green tea extracts, and EFSA flagged catechin doses at or above 800 mg a day in supplements. The list gives the extract as 50%.
